Thereafter, Robert Plant was singing with the band and when they got into some quieter pieces, his vocals were so strong tha they were easily heard in the large arena. Amazing!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00325433905251825719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8015290367489085356.post-3119974994037333742011-09-07T16:46:31.353-07:002011-09-07T16:46:31.353-07:00I was there as well and get much mileage telling f...I was there as well and get much mileage telling folks I saw Led Zep open for Jose Feliciano. The reaction is often, "Who." As for half the crowd leaving, I wouldn't know I was so gone befor Jose hit the stage.bcat72https://www.blogger.com/profile/08885173765676551621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8015290367489085356.post-45554873690392252102011-04-17T09:20:03.481-07:002011-04-17T09:20:03.481-07:00Michael, thanks for the memory. I'm sure he had rock groups open for him many times, but having Led Zeppelin as your opener would have been something different entirely.Corry342https://www.blogger.com/profile/08049035074121231425noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8015290367489085356.post-86541605281975596842011-04-17T07:22:03.541-07:002011-04-17T07:22:03.541-07:00"kind of a letdown"???? Are you kiddin..."kind of a letdown"???? Are you kidding? I was there that night and I will NEVER forget it. This article is pretty accurate although I don't believe the hall was half-empty for Feliciano. The crowd for LZ was SOOOOO over the top.xtrm1https://www.blogger.com/profile/17966127992564566769noreply@blogger.com
